Lots of great stories and reports coming in from Eye Trip premieres around the world, though this is probably our favorite so far…
Jason Hamborg set up a premiere in Prince George BC this past weekend.  His original goal was to break even on his investment and if he made a few extra bucks he looked forward to putting the money towards some new gear and a season pass.  He ended up selling out the venue  and would have walked away with a pile of cash, but instead decided to put all his profits towards a sit ski fund set up for Landon McGauley from Quesnel, BC who broke his back in a mountain biking accident this past summer.
Cheers to Jason for finding the BEST way to spend his profits from the premiere, and everyone that came out to support the event and check out Eye Trip.
Level 1 will also be donating all our proceeds from the event to Landon’s fund- thanks for the inspiration Jason!

Hey Guys!
So let me start off by saying WOW! Amazing work by you guys, at the risk of sounding way to emotional, every shot in that movie was beautiful. And everyone I have talked to agrees. Totally changing the way ski movies will be judged from here on out in my opinion.
The premier went off without a hitch, I was sitting at about 80 tickets sold coming into the night and I ended up selling out. 162 tickets gone, full house. Originally my goal was to sell enough tickets to break even, and then put the remaining money (if there was going to be any) towards some new bindings and my seasons pass. But a last minute decision changed that, and I decided to donate all the profits to a young kid from Quesnel, about an hour away from PG, who broke his back this summer in a mountain biking accident. This kid has such a positive attitude and is really just an inspiration. So we basically donated the money to his sit ski fund. It was a pretty awesome feeling for sure and he was super excited. Everyone loved the prizes and I am definitely already looking forward to next years premier!
My good friend Mike Fillion came and took some pics of the event so check em out.
1) Full house before we get going…
2) Jason Hamborg and Landon McGauley
3) Thats a wrap!
Thanks again for all your support getting things organized!
Cheers,
Jason
