Eye Trip World Premiere Countdown
We’re in the final stages of nailing down the last few segs in Eye Trip, and we can all stand behind our claim that its packed with more, bigger, and better action then any Level 1 film to date, and we’re getting revved up to share it with the rest of the world!
Yeah, its true… Level 1′s World Premieres are usually some of the biggest and best parties of the fall season, but this year we’re REALLY stepping it up a notch!
Raffle- MORE gear from MORE sponsors then ever before! Â Including skis from Dynastar, outerwear from Orage, Under Armour, and Spyder, eyewear from Spy and Scott, headphones from Skullcandy, Epic Passes from Vail Resorts, and beverage specials from Monster and PBR!
And the MUSIC!
Ever heard of Egadz? Â You should recognize his music from the opening segment in our ’08 release, “Turbo,” or Wiley’s closing segment in “Refresh.” Â One man beat extraordinaire, famous for his youtube video, is a San Francisco native who is at the forefront of the new beat culture explosion. Egadz sometimes known as Dj Egadz, is no longer a DJ, but rather a true instumentalist, building compositions many say push beyond the realm of instrumental hip hop. In the last 8 years he has built a successful indie record label, and has established a worldwide following using his true DIY tactics. Egadz spent the first half of this year on a headlining tour in 8 different countries. Check him out at kidwithoutradio.com.
When the movie wraps up, the fun really starts…
Reggae fan?!?!?  Your ticket also gets you in to see Kingston Jamaica’s Junior Reid at Cervantes’ Other Side!  Reid, one of Jamaica’s most famous reggae artists, is the former frontman for Black Uhuru, and has been embraced by a whole new generation of young fans. He appeared on the remix for Mims’ hit song ‘This Is Why I’m Hot,’ has recently recorded songs with The Game, Jim Jones, Fabolous, Fat Joe, Rick Ross, T-Pain, Bun-B, and other hip hop heavyweights.  Reid also performed with Alicia Keys at the 2007 American Music Awards, and is a frequent collaborator with Lil Wayne.
Are you REALLY there for the afterparty?  Then you’ll probably want to stick around the main venue to get it on with DJ’s Walker, Berryhill, and Flesher of Robotic Pirate Monkey. Straight from Boulder, CO, they put on a show not to be missed. And bring your dancing shoes- check out some samples tunes!
Discounted tickets are still available for purchase directly through the Level 1 online store between now and midnight on Thursday, September 9th. After that, you’ll have to pony up an additional $3, and take your chances and hope that you beat the rush at the Ticket Window on Friday night. This event IS expected to sell out.
