Marketing and Video Production Specialist

Location: Denver, CO (remote work start possible, but candidates must be willing to relocate to Denver long term)
Level 1 is looking for a full time Marketing and Video Production Specialist to join our staff in Denver, Colorado.
The ideal candidate has a passion for filmmaking, skiing, and marketing, and a thorough understanding of Level 1's position and brand in skiing. Day to day, this position will have the opportunity to work on social media and video content assignments, branded commercial and documentary film production, and marketing/advertising for Level 1 merchandise. In practice, this position will participate in shaping the future of Level 1's community engagement in the ski industry.
You’ll need:
- Solid people skills
- Writing skills - both email comms and creative copy
- Basic familiarity (or willingness to learn) key programs in Adobe Creative Suite, such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc
- Basic familiarity (or willingness to learn) the Meta Ads suite
- Knowledge of social media trends and comfort with using the key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc) and peripheral apps (CapCut, etc)
- Healthy nose for time-management, particularly the ability to juggle numerous projects at once and work confidently under deadlines
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
- Aptitude for maintaining relationships and building new ones
- Willingness to get involved with other aspects of production and pre-production depending on the project
- Desire to take direction and constructive criticism.
- A solid understanding of ski culture and the industry around it
- A Bachelor’s degree or similar level of education
Potential tasks include:
- Production roles on ongoing commercial production work and documentary work
- On-site content production at Level 1 events (SuperUnknown, Film Tour, etc)
- Cataloging, organizing, and sorting content
- Creating social media posts (familiarity with TikTok, IG Reels is a must)
- Editing videos (raw cuts, social cutdowns, etc.)
- Scheduling/monitoring social media calendar
- Optimizing / creating email campaigns (familiarity with Mailchimp a plus)
- Strategizing outside-the-box video concepts to be delivered on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X
- Creatively promote new merchandise and various product launches
- Assist with other relevant post production tasks and help out with normal day to day office operations
